Job Summary

Vacancy: Workload Automation Specialist

Achmea is looking for a Workload Automation Specialist to join its Workload Automation team. The team consists of 12 specialists and is responsible for managing and improving the central workload automation platform.

In this role, you will focus on the technical management of the platform and the design, build and maintenance of complex IT workflows for internal users. These workflows ensure that IT processes run at the right time, in the right order and with the correct dependencies.

The team primarily works with Stonebranch Universal Automation Center. Experience with Stonebranch is preferred but not required. Experience with other workload automation or orchestration tools, such as TWS, Cronicle or similar scheduling platforms is also relevant.

You will be working on:

  • Technical management of the workload automation platform

  • Analysing and resolving incidents
  • Supporting changes, releases and lifecycle management
  • Collaborating with infrastructure teams, application teams and other stakeholders

We are looking for someone with experience in Linux, preferably RHEL, and Windows server. You understand the principles of Ansible and Azure, and you are comfortable working with PowerShell, Bash and Python. Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, firewalls, ports and connectivity is also expected.

You take responsibility for your work, can work independently and communicate clearly. You are able to analyse technical issues, document your work and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Clear English communication skills are required. Stonebranch experience is a plus, but a solid technical background in platform management, scripting and IT process automation is more important.
