Job Summary

 

Description of the role Sitecore developer:

You will be working on the new construction and the maintenance of all Sitecore platforms within Achmea. These platforms are being used by all of our brands (among them Centraal Beheer, Interpolis, Zilveren Kruis and FBTO) The management of, on Helix principles based, generic foundation and feature components for the Sitecore platforms is performed centrally. It concerns a total of more than 150 environments that all run on Microsoft Azure. In Europe we are in the top 3 largest customers of Sitecore on Azure. In addition, you are constantly on the alert: for our customers, our websites must have an availability of 99,99%. That gives you a mega interesting environment to work in!

 

Profile candidate:

  • You have at least a higher professional education work and thinking level.
  • Experience with Sitecore 10 on Azure
  • If you don’t speak Dutch, at least you speak English fluently
  • Things like Helix, Unicorn, xConnect, Sitecore CLI and Publishing Services do not have surprises for you anymore
  • You build Azure pipelines effortlessly
  • You don’t use Sitecore Habitat or Lighthouse as a starter kit

 

Department information:

You are part of one of the scrum teams of the department Portalen Basis & Deployment. In the multidisciplinary team we have Azure Cloud/Infra specialists and Sitecore experts. You will become part of the Sitecore Community within Achmea. The department is responsible for the operational management of the Sitecore en WebApi services. You work closely with your colleagues. There is a lot of contact with other departments, among them the Azure Cloud team, software suppliers and dozens of other scrumteams of the different brands. The PB&D department has a major influence on the availability and the ins and outs of the platforms and her customers.
