Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Summit Developer to design and develop robust solutions within the 
Finastra Summit ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Summit architecture, C/C++/C# development, 
and software development life cycle (SDLC). This role requires collaboration with business analysts, testers, 
and release managers to deliver high-quality financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions based on business requirements.
Work closely with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain Summit FT, MetaData, STK, STP,  and RDBMS functionalities.
Ensure compliance with software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices.
Implement and optimize Summit modules such as Documentation, Accounting, Risk Management, Trade Processing, STP, Payments, and Settlements.
Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Work in Unix and Windows environments, executing SQL queries and XML parsing as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
London hybrid, release weekend support required

Skill Requirements

Programming Skills: 10+ years of experience in C/C++ development, OOPS design, and software engineering.
Summit Development: Experience of working with Summit Cash Flow, Reporting and STP API’s as well as implementation of Meta Data changes.
Summit upgrade Experience : end to end upgrade planning, rehearsals, cutover/rollback, and hypercare.
Database Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle relational databases, SQL, and XML parsing.
SDLC & Agile: Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
System Integration: Experience working with Finastra applications and Summit trade processing.

Other Requirements

Some Exposure to C#.Net and/or Java development.
Scripting languages, Linux shell(s),  Python, PERL.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and tools.
Familiarity with banking and financial services applications.
Good command of spoken and written English for effective communication.
