Job Summary

A DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a specialist with deep expertise in DevOps practices, tools, processes, and automation who guides teams in implementing and optimizing software delivery and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
  • Manage cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
  • Improve deployment reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Define DevOps standards, best practices, and governance.
  • Mentor development and operations teams on DevOps methodologies.
