Job Summary
We are looking for an Oracle HCM Functional Lead Consultant with 8–12 years of experience and strong expertise across at least four Oracle HCM Cloud modules from Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Security, Payroll, Absence, and Time & Labor. The role requires the ability to lead functional workstreams, drive solution design, manage client workshops, and ensure successful delivery across Oracle HCM engagements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead business workshops, requirement analysis, fit-gap discussions, and solution design sessions.
• Own functional delivery across at least four Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Drive configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Review business requirements and recommend Oracle HCM best-practice solutions.
• Prepare and review functional specification documents, configuration workbooks, test plans, and training content.
• Coordinate with technical, integration, reporting, data migration, and security teams.
• Lead SIT/UAT planning, defect management, issue resolution, and business validation.
• Manage client communication for assigned functional areas.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure quality of functional deliverables.
Required Skills
• Strong expertise in four Oracle HCM Cloud modules :
o Core HR
o OLC
o Payroll
o Absence
• Working knowledge of other Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Experience leading Oracle HCM functional workstreams.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HCM processes and integration points.
• Ability to manage workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design discussions.
• Strong experience in configuration, functional documentation, testing, and production support.
Good to Have
• Oracle HCM Cloud certifications across multiple modules.
• Experience in at least 2 Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
• Experience in global or multi-country Oracle HCM implementations.
• Knowledge of HDL, HSDL, OTBI, BI Publisher, Fast Formula, approval workflows, and security configuration.
• Experience in team mentoring or workstream leadership.

3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
