Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Modeling: Translate complex business requirements into low-level design. Build and maintain forecasting models, including revenue planning, cost centers, and workforce planning.Data Actions & Automations: Configure and debug Data Actions, Advanced Formulas, and Allocation processes to automate financial calculations and data distribution.Integration & Architecture: Connect SAC with live and imported data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and third-party systems.Planning Workflows: Create end-to-end planning processes using Calendar Tasks, BPC Input Forms, Data Access Control (DAC), and version management.Stakeholder Enablement: Partner with Finance and FP&A teams to define KPIs, drive "what-if" scenario planning, and build interactive dashboards/stories.Security & Performance: Set up data locks, user roles, and dimension security while optimizing model performance to handle large datasets.
Skill Requirements
Experience: Typically 10+ years in SAP Financials, with at least 2 to 4 years dedicated specifically to SAC Planning architecture and implementations.Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of multi-entity financial planning, budgeting lifecycles, and predictive analytics.Technical Proficiencies: Advanced hands-on skills with SAC models, predictive scenarios, and scripting/FOX formulas.Ecosystem Familiarity: Exposure to SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), SAP Group Reporting, or SAP Analytics Cloud certifications is highly desirable.Soft Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and the ability to articulate complex technical data structures to non-technical business users.
