Job Summary

The Polarion Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, migrating and governing enterprise-scale Polarion ALM solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Polarion configuration, customization, integrations, and process alignment across the SDLC, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and compliance. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, system engineers, and development teams to translate complex requirements into robust Polarion solutions.
Core Skills
•    Strong hands-on experience with Polarion ALM (Requirements, Test Management, Risk, Change & Release Management)
•    Advanced knowledge of:
o    LiveDocs, Work Items, Workflows
o    Traceability, Baselines, Variants
o    Reports and Dashboards
•    Experience with Polarion Extensions SDK
•    Polarion deployment, upgrade, and migration strategies
•    Customization & Development : Custom workflows, forms, and field configurations; Scripting using: Velocity (VM), Java / JavaScript
•    REST API and Web Services integrations, Custom widgets, reports, and document templates
Job Description
•    Understand the requirements and develop and deliver the solution & other ALM Deployments for large scale roll-outs
•    Participate & Deliver Customization, Migration and Integration solution with Siemens Polarion
•    Lead Polarion implementations, upgrades, and migrations
•    Drive complex customizations using SDK, scripts, and APIs
•    Ensure high performance, stability, and maintainability of solutions
•    Experience on automating tool for data migration between Polarion and other tools.
•    Proven experience in end-to-end ALM migrations to Polarion
o    Migration strategy definition (phased, big-bang, hybrid), Data mapping and transformation
o    Preservation of traceability, history, baselines, and approvals, Migration risk assessment and rollback strategies
•    Strong understanding of: ALM / PLM, SAFe, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid methodologies
•    Experience in regulated environments Medical Devices (ISO 13485), Automotive (ASPICE, ISO 26262), Aerospace / Defense (DO-178, DO-254)
•    Compliance-driven migration planning and audit readiness, good hold on CSV processes
