Job Summary

Position Details 

  • Role: Basis S/4HANA Conversion SME 

  • Grade: Consultant / Senior Consultant 

  • Experience: 8–10 Years 

  • Location: India (Client / Hybrid) 

  • Industry: Steel Manufacturing 

  • Reporting To: SAP Program Manager / Basis Lead 

Organization Overview 

  • Seeking an experienced SAP Basis S/4HANA Conversion SME to lead technical conversion and transformation initiatives for large steel manufacturing enterprises. 

Role Purpose 

  • Drive SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA conversions, system migrations, landscape transformation, technical architecture, cutover planning and go-live support across Greenfield and Brownfield programs. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA conversion and upgrade activities. 

  • Plan and execute Brownfield system conversion projects. 

  • Support Greenfield implementation landscapes and environment strategy. 

  • Perform SUM/DMO migrations, kernel upgrades and system refreshes. 

  • Manage SAP HA/DR, performance tuning, transport management and security coordination. 

  • Coordinate infrastructure, database, cloud and application teams. 

  • Support data migration, cutover, testing and hypercare. 

  • Prepare governance reports and technical risk assessments. 

Required Experience 

  • 8–10 years of SAP Basis administration and implementation experience. 

  • Minimum one Greenfield SAP implementation and two Brownfield S/4HANA conversion projects. 

  • Hands-on experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion. 

  • Experience with HANA DB administration, upgrades and migrations. 

  • Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and project governance.
