Job Summary
ROLE PURPOSE
Lead technical migration from Zebra SDKs and device services to Hand Held/Honeywell AIDC capabilities, ensuring functional equivalence and physical-device readiness.
QUALIFICATIONS & LEVEL
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience; relevant cloud, Agile, mobile, security or platform certifications are advantageous.
• Senior/lead profile: owns complex outcomes, mentors team members and influences architecture, quality and stakeholder decisions.
• Strong written and spoken English, collaborative delivery behavior and disciplined handling of customer code, credentials and data.
Key Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess Zebra DataWedge, EMDK, MX and other OEM dependencies, device configurations and peripheral interactions.
• Map source SDK/API behavior to Hand Held AIDC SDKs and maintain the compatibility and SDK matrix.
• Design and implement code remediation, refactoring, module rewrites, OEM configuration and integration changes.
• Create reference patterns, samples and migration guidance for scanning, intent/profile, device management and peripheral use cases.
• Support emulator and physical-device troubleshooting, hardware-lab certification and parity evidence.
• Feed new device/client patterns into AIFW recipes and daily SDK synchronization processes.

• Hand Held SDK/device engineering, Conversion Engineers, Architect, Platform Engineers, QA/hardware lab and End Customer technical SMEs.
Staffing-plan skills: Mobile development, assessment, code remediation, refactoring.
Enhanced requirements: Advanced Android development, Java/Kotlin, Zebra DataWedge/EMDK/MX, Honeywell or Hand Held AIDC SDKs, device management, barcode/scanning workflows, API migration, refactoring, debugging and hardware integration testing.
