Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to design, build, and support integrations between Salesforce and Aptean Paragon 360. The role requires strong expertise in Salesforce integration capabilities, APIs, middleware, data mapping, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable synchronisation of customer, product, order, and related business data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce and Aptean Paragon 360.
  • Analyse business processes and define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, field validations, and reconciliation controls.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using Salesforce REST, SOAP, Bulk, and event-driven APIs, Apex callouts, middleware, or scheduled interfaces.
  • Configure Salesforce objects, fields, flows, connected applications, authentication, and integration user permissions as required.
  • Implement reliable processing for customer, account, product, order, shipment, pricing, and related operational data.
  • Manage error handling, retries, duplicate prevention, data quality, logging, alerts, and end-to-end monitoring.
  • Prepare technical designs, API specifications, mapping documents, deployment plans, and operational support guides.
  • Conduct unit, integration, regression, performance, and production-validation testing; support UAT and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce, Paragon 360, architecture, QA, security, infrastructure, and business teams through delivery and production support.

Skill Requirements

  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with Aptean Paragon 360 or a comparable ERP, logistics, or route-planning platform.
  • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge, including Apex, SOQL, objects, security, Flow, and connected applications.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, Bulk APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, and integration design patterns.
  • Proficiency in middleware or iPaaS tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, or equivalent.
  • Strong data mapping, transformation, validation, migration, reconciliation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with asynchronous processing, API limits, error handling, retries, monitoring, and production support.
  • Working knowledge of Git-based version control, CI/CD, Agile delivery, Jira, and Confluence.

Other Requirements

  • Knowledge of route planning, logistics, transport management, scheduling, or order fulfilment processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Pub/Sub API, or near-real-time integration patterns.
  • Exposure to cloud services, message queues, SQL, API management, and observability tools.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer, Integration Architect, MuleSoft, or relevant Aptean certification.
