Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and 10+ years experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across backend development, frontend frameworks, database architecture, hardware communication protocols, and cross-platform scripting. This role requires someone who can independently own technical decisions, mentor junior developers, and deliver robust, scalable solutions across web, mobile, and embedded-adjacent platforms.

Key Responsibilities

General Engineering Skills

  • Solid understanding of RESTful API and JSON-RPC 2.0 design principles
  • Experience with Git version control (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews)
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills
  • String understanding of shell scripting

Skill Requirements

Overall 10+ year of experience

🐍 Backend Development — Python

  • 10+ years of Python development experience
  • Proficiency with Flask – RESTful API design, middleware, blueprints, app factory pattern
  • Proficiency with FastAPI – async endpoints, dependency injection, Pydantic models, OpenAPI documentation
  • Strong experience with SQLAlchemy – ORM modeling, migrations (Alembic), query optimization, relationship mapping
  • Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, API keys)
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest)

🔌 Hardware Communication & Embedded-Adjacent Development

  • Experience with I2C and SMBus communication protocols
  • Familiarity with hardware adapters such as TotalPhase Aardvark or Promira

🖥️ Frontend Development — React + Kendo UI

  • 3+ years of React development experience
  • Hands-on experience with Kendo UI for React (or Kendo UI jQuery/Angular equivalent) — Grid, Scheduler, Charts, Form components; Theming and customization
  • Strong understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand)
  • Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant UIs
  • Familiarity with build tools (Vite, Webpack, npm/yarn)

🗄️ Database Knowledge

Oracle Database

  • PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers
  • Query optimization and execution plan analysis
  • Schema design and indexing strategies
  • Experience with Oracle-specific features (sequences, partitioning, hints)

MySQL

  • Schema design, normalization, and performance tuning
  • Stored procedures and views
  • Replication and backup strategies
  • General skills: writing complex queries, joins, window functions, transaction management

📱 Swift / SwiftUI

  • Experience developing iOS/macOS applications using Swift
  • Proficiency with SwiftUI – declarative UI, state management (@State, @ObservedObject, @EnvironmentObject, @Observable)
  • Familiarity with UIKit interoperability, navigation patterns, and app lifecycle
  • Experience with async/await concurrency and actor-based thread safety
  • Experience with Xcode, TestFlight, and App Store deployment is a plus

🔷 TypeScript

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript – interfaces, generics, utility types, strict mode
  • Experience integrating TypeScript in React projects
  • Understanding of type-safe API contracts and shared type definitions
  • Familiarity with TypeScript in Node.js environments is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
