Job Summary
Job Title: Cognos BI Developer – TM1 Azure Total Experience: 5+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cognos BI Developer with expertise in TM1 and Azure to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterpriselevel BI solutions using IBM Cognos TM1, integrated with Azure cloud services. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and handson experience with cloudbased data platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Cognos TM1 models, cubes, and reports. • Implement and optimize TM1 Planning Analytics solutions for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Integrate TM1 with Azure Data Services e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines using Azure tools. • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and scalability of BI solutions. • Provide support and troubleshooting for TM1 applications and Azure integrations. • Document technical designs, processes, and user guides. Required Skills Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in IBM Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics. • Strong knowledge of TM1 Rules, TI Processes, and Cube Design. • Experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage. • Proficiency in MDX, SQL, and scripting languages used in TM1. • Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus. • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: • TM1 certification or Azure Data Engineer certification. • Experience in financial planning and analysis FPA domains. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
