Job Summary

This position entails leading a technical team with a focus on Python, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in Python coding, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design and implementation of python based applications.
2. Drive the development of microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and flexibility in software solutions.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate cloud technologies into the software development lifecycle.
4. Implement best practices for code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
5. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
6. Stay updated on emerging trends in python, microservices, and cloud technologies to drive continuous improvement in development processes.

Skill Requirements

4+ years of relevant experience as a Python developer. 

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. 

Exposure to tools like Visual Studio Code. 

Scheduling using Python Script & scheduler. 

Knowledge of XML, JSON, CSV & Parquet file format.  

Knowledge of Dremio and Pyarrow. 

Hands-on experience with wide variety of data platforms such as Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. 

Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and technologies, including VMs, storage, networking, security, and application services. 

Metadata definition and management via data catalogs, service catalogs, and stewardship tools such as Microsoft Purview. 

Knowledge of UNIX/Windows Power Shell scripts is a plus. 

Test programming using automated testing frameworks, data validation and quality frameworks, and data lineage frameworks. 

Data ingest, validation, and enrichment pipeline design and implementation. 

Good to have Service Bus, Data Factory & Flask, will be a plus. 

Strong understanding of data pipelines; should be able to work with REST, SOAP, FTP, HTTP, and ODBC 

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Python, Microservices, or Cloud technologies are a plus.
