Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development and modernization. The role involves contributing to the transformation of a mission-critical legacy platform currently built on Struts 1.2, Java 1.6, JSP, WebSphere, Oracle and DB2 into a modern architecture based on Angular, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure AKS.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on development experience across both frontend and backend technologies, coupled with the ability to analyze existing application functionality, understand legacy codebases, and assist in modernization initiatives. Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications and Agile delivery teams is highly desirable.

Application Analysis & Modernization
Analyze existing application components and assist in reverse engineering legacy Struts/JSP-based functionality.
Understand business workflows, system integrations, and database dependencies.
Participate in documenting current-state and target-state application architecture.
Support migration activities from Struts/WebSphere to Angular and Spring Boot.
Ensure functional equivalence between legacy and modernized applications.
Full Stack Development
Develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain reusable UI and backend components.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and enterprise services.
Participate in application performance optimization and troubleshooting activities.
Database Development
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Work with Oracle and relational database systems.
Support data migration and validation activities.
Collaborate with architects and senior developers on data access layer implementation using MyBatis.
Quality Engineering & DevOps
Write unit tests and maintain high code quality standards.
Contribute towards achieving 90% unit test coverage goals.
Participate in CI/CD implementation and release activities.
Utilize code quality and security tools such as SonarQube.
Support deployment and troubleshooting across development and testing environments.
Agile Delivery
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
Estimate work effort and deliver user stories within sprint timelines.
Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and Product Owners.
Follow Agile and DevOps best practices throughout the SDLC.
