Job Summary

Own the frontend build for Zurich's UK GL & GIP quote modernization, extending the reusable CLPW/GCI quote-wizard into a config-driven, multi-geo React 19 application. You will convert Figma designs into production components, integrate with ASP.NET Core (.NET 10) APIs, and work within an AI-accelerated SDLC where AI-generated assets are reviewed and hardened under human-in-the-loop controls. 

Key Responsibilities

Build and extend the React 19 + TypeScript + Vite quote-wizard shell (routing, layout, theming, i18n) for GL, GIP and reusable GCI journeys. 

Translate Figma screens into reusable, accessible components; validate visual and PDF equivalence against legacy quote flows. 

Implement feature modules: quote header, scheme, census upload, claims/reserves, quote results, comparison and renewals. 

Integrate typed API clients to .NET 10 services; manage server state with React Query and forms with react-hook-form + schema validation. 

Enforce Okta OIDC/PKCE auth guards, product/geo context and feature flags; keep pricing and underwriting logic out of the browser. 

Review, refine and productionize AI-generated (Figma-to-React) scaffolding; add App Insights telemetry and meet Zurich NFR and quality gates. 

Skill Requirements

Must-Have Skills 

Core: 6+ years frontend engineering with strong React (hooks, React 19+) and TypeScript; component-driven architecture and design systems (MUI / react-admin). 

State & Data: React Query / server-state caching, react-hook-form, schema validation, data grids, filtering and pagination at scale. 

Integration: Consuming REST APIs (ASP.NET Core), OIDC/PKCE auth (Okta), feature flags and config-driven UI behavior. 

Quality: Component and unit testing, accessibility (WCAG AA), performance tuning and Figma-to-code fidelity. 

Good-to-Have 

Vite tooling, modular monorepo / micro-frontend patterns, and reusable multi-geo (localization) product configuration. 

Exposure to AI-assisted engineering (Claude Code, prompt-based code and test generation) with review discipline. 

Insurance quote-and-pricing domain, Playwright, and Azure DevOps CI/CD familiarity.
