Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize Jira and related Atlassian tools. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Jira administration, workflow customization, automation, user management, reporting, and integration with enterprise applications. The role involves partnering with business and technical teams to improve project tracking, governance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Jira Cloud/Data Center environments.
- Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, schemes, screens, fields, dashboards, and permissions.
- Design and implement Jira automation rules to streamline business processes.
- Manage user access, groups, roles, and security configurations.
- Support Agile teams by configuring Scrum and Kanban boards.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs for stakeholders.
- Integrate Jira with tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and other enterprise applications.
- Perform system upgrades, migrations, backups, and troubleshooting activities.
- Monitor Jira performance and implement best practices for scalability and governance.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Provide end-user training and support for Jira-related processes.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Jira Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Jira Cloud and/or Jira Data Center.
- Experience with Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, schemes, and permission models.
- Expertise in Jira Automation and scripting tools.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Experience with Atlassian ecosystem tools such as Confluence and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of integrations using REST APIs and webhooks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator certification.
- Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM).
- Knowledge of Groovy, ScriptRunner, or other Jira plugins.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise Jira implementations and migrations.

Skill Requirements
