Job Summary
- Analyze and migrate legacy Java/J2EE applications to modern Spring Boot-based microservices architecture.
- Perform Java version upgrades (e.g., Java 8 → 11/17/21) ensuring code compatibility and performance improvements.
- Refactor monolithic applications into modular, API-driven services (RESTful APIs).
- Upgrade frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC → Spring Boot) and replace deprecated libraries/components.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to define target architecture and migration strategy.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment in cloud/OpenShift environments.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance tuning using tools like SonarQube.
- Support integration, testing, and production deployment during migration phases.
- Lead the team and coordinate with onshore lead

Skill Requirements
Must have: Java 21, Spring Boot, Junit
Good to Have : Openshift, Control-M , Gitlab, with Java & spring boot migration, copilot promting.

2. Experience in leading development teams and managing projects using agile methodologies.
3. Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
