Job Summary
The Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing activities related to automotive hardwareintheloop (HIL) testing, Embedded System testing, and overall testing processes. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive software and embedded systems through effective testing strategies.
Mandatory skills:
Extracting test requirements from functional specification documents (High-level design documents)
Making test scenarios from the test requirements
Making test cases from the test scenarios
Knowledge and experience in using dSPACE's HIL system
Experience in using dSPACE's ControlDesk software and knowledge of how to use the software
Experience in using dSPACE's AutomationDesk software and knowledge of how to use the software
Analyzing test results (logs of input signals and output signals) and identifying the failure reason
Analyzing test results (logs of CAN communication), identifying the failure reason, and knowledge of CAN communication protocol
Preferred skills:
Knowledge and experience in Embedded C
Knowledge and experience in Model-Based Development (MBD)
Key Responsibilities
2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automotive software applications.
3. Lead defect tracking and resolution processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on testing best practices and methodologies.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing status, issues, and risks effectively.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive testing technologies and methodologies.
Skill Requirements
2. Solid knowledge with hands-on experience of testing techniques and methodologies in an automotive environment
3. Extensive experience and solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools
4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot defects.
5. Extensive experience is effectively communicating and guiding testing teams, as well as collaborating with stakeholders
6. Detail oriented approach to ensure thorough testing coverage and accurate defect tracking.
7. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
