Job Summary

As a Test Lead specializing in DO 178B, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software through effective testing strategies. You will be responsible for planning, deploying, and managing the testing efforts for projects, ensuring client and internal requirements are met in adherence to quality standards. Your leadership will enhance the technical capabilities of the QA team while driving continuous improvement in testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Address Inconsistencies, Ensuring The Preparation Of Automated Test Scripts And The Maintenance Of An Up-To-Date Test Case Suite.
2. Develop And Improve Automated Tests In Alignment With New System Features And Enhancements, While Creating Detailed Work Plans And Monitoring Schedules To Ensure Timely Delivery According To Established Quality Standards.
3. Create Reusable And Scalable Test Automation Frameworks, Develop Comprehensive Test Strategies And Plans, Maintain Test Data, And Submit Status Reports To Minimize Project Exposure And Manage Risks Effectively.
4. Guide And Mentor Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Skills, And Improving Overall Team Productivity.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Do 178B Standards And Their Application In Embedded Software Testing.
2. Proficiency In Functional Testing Methodologies And Practices.
3. Experience In Developing Automated Test Scripts And Maintaining Test Case Suites.
4. Familiarity With Creating Test Strategies, Plans, And Risk Management Practices.
5. Basic Knowledge Of Programming In C++ For Test Automation Purposes.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Istqb Certified Tester Or Equivalent In Software Testing Methodologies.
