Job Summary

Functional QA - API, DB
"• Minimum 8+ years of experience in QA area 4+ Years into API Manual testing
• SDLC and Test Management skill is must
• Exposure to Automation tools such as selenium and Cypress.
• Good understanding on API Architecture and exposure to Automation (ReadyAPI, Postman, any other tools)
• Status report preparation and updating Milestone tracker etc. for Leadership team
• Strong Communication & Interpretation Skills
"Good experience on Jira tool
10. Participation in Requirements grooming sessions, Scrum, business review calls, and release cut over calls
11. Awareness of Bug Life Cycle and report issues, prioritize and represent in release sign offs
12. Proactive and Get things done attitude
13. Good communication skills and should be able to handle the project independently
14.Should be flexible and ready to support in CST
15. Good to have automation tools like Selenium, Cypress etc.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members, Utilizing Knowledge Of Functional Testing To Understand Specifications And Highlight Performance Concerns While Preparing Automated Test Scripts And Maintaining The Test Case Suite.
2. Develop And Continuously Enhance Automated Tests In Line With New System Features And Improvements, Creating Effective Work Plans And Monitoring Schedules To Ensure Timely Delivery In Accordance With Defined Quality Standards.
3. Design And Implement Scalable Test Automation Frameworks, Develop Comprehensive Test Strategies And Plans, Manage Test Data, And Prepare Status Reports To Mitigate Risks And Address Project Escalations Proactively.
4. Mentor And Guide Qa Engineers In Leveraging The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Skills To Boost Productivity And Foster A Collaborative Working Environment.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Functional Testing Concepts And Methodologies
2. Proficiency In Test Automation Tools And Scripting (E.G., Selenium, Testng)
3. Solid Experience In Developing Test Plans, Strategies, And Frameworks
4. Familiarity With Performance Testing Tools And Techniques
5. Good Knowledge Of Database Testing And Data Validation Practices
6. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

Other Requirements

1. Istqb Certified Tester (Foundation Level) Is Optional But Valuable
2. Certification In Test Automation (E.G., Certified Selenium Tester) Is Optional But Valuable
