Job Summary

As a Test Lead specializing in L2/L3 protocol testing, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, and managing the testing efforts for networking projects. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all testing activities meet client and internal quality standards. You will collaborate closely with clients and team members to understand design specifications and address performance concerns while driving innovation in testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand L2/L3 Networking Protocol Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Prepare Automated Test Scripts Using Tools Like Python And Selenium, Ensuring Test Environments Are Current And Adequately Maintained.
2. Develop And Enhance Automated Tests As New Features And Enhancements In Networking Systems Are Rolled Out, While Creating Detailed Work Plans And Monitoring Schedules For Timely Delivery, Adhering To Defined Quality Standards.
3. Design And Implement A Reusable And Scalable Test Automation Framework Using Tools Like Jenkins And Junit, Develop Comprehensive Test Strategies And Plans, Manage Test Data, And Generate Status Reports To Mitigate Project Risks And Manage Escalations Effectively.
4. Mentor And Guide Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Expertise In Networking Protocols, And Driving Improvements In Overall Testing Productivity.

Skill Requirements

1. In-Depth Knowledge Of L2/L3 Networking Protocols And Testing Methodologies.
2. Strong Proficiency In Test Automation Tools And Scripting Languages Such As Python And Selenium.
3. Solid Experience In Using Ci/Cd Tools Like Jenkins For Automating Test Processes.
4. Ability To Develop And Implement Test Strategies And Frameworks That Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage.
5. Familiarity With Defect Tracking And Test Management Tools.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Foundation Level, Certified Software Tester (Cste), Or Similar.
