Job Summary

To plan, deploy and manage the testing effort/work plans for the project [module] to meet the client /internal requirements as per the quality standards prescribed.

Key Responsibilities

1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client /team to understand functional /design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,prepare automated test scripts,maintain test case suite,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept upto date.
2. To develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features/ enhancements are developed and accordingly create work plans| monitor and track the work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
3. To create reusable /scalable test automation framework, develop test strategies/plans, maintain test data and to submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

Skill Requirements

Work Experience: 4-8 years of overall experience with Manual and Automation testing. Working experience with Microsoft technologies, TFS, VSTS, Microsoft Test Manager. Any Certification on relevant area in testing, Cloud, DevOPs is definite plus. 

Strong ability to understand complex application requirements, workflows and features to provide functional test design (comprehensive test plans and cases) is essential. Strong experience with Functional, User Interface, System, Integration and Regression testing for web applications is essential. Experience with Security, Accessibility and Compliance testing is a plus.   Experience with E2E testing for SaaS products or applications is a plus. Strong experience with bug life cycle management, ability to analyze and prioritize defects. Experience with Azure DevOps Test Management or similar other test management systems. Hands-on experience with at least 1 of the following functional automation areas is relevant (Area – Technology)   User Interface testing – WebDriverIO/ Cypress/ Playwright or other similar tools/frameworks. API testing – Postman or other similar tools/frameworks. Hands-on experience building and managing CI-CD pipelines in Azure DevOps is a plus.   Hands-on experience with Git for version control. Hands-on programming experience with JavaScript, Typescript and C#.Net for test automation.
