Job Summary

Must have

  • Playwright with TypeScript: page objects, fixtures, stable locators, waiting for and capturing network responses
  • API testing: REST calls with bearer tokens, comparing API responses with what the UI shows, handling 401, 429 and 500 errors
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions (scheduled runs, secrets, Docker containers, test reports)
  • Git: branches, pull requests, code reviews
  • Test design: turning manual test cases into reliable automated checks, and telling a real bug apart from a flaky test

Nice to have

  • Using AI to maintain framework.

Soft skills

  • Can work independently and ask the business or dev team the right questions when a test case is unclear
  • Clear written English for bug reports and test documentation
