Job Summary

● Set up validation tests, test fixtures, and lab equipment.
● Set-up and maintain lab space, equipment, tools, and materials of a hardware R&D lab. Track and organize test devices.
● Assist with assembly, maintenance, and repair of test fixtures. Rework test devices.
● Provide engineering test support.
● Work with health (PPG, ECG, EDA) sensor engineers to conduct necessary validation and characterization tests for NPI, NTI or debug. Partner with internal Employees for data collection, design of experiments, and analysis in order to guide engineering research, assess module risk level, and improve health sensor technologies.
● Create and execute test protocols, data collection, and data processing scripts. Organize and store data according to team best practices for later analysis. Report fixture, protocol, or device test issues and assist with debug workflow. Engage on testing continuous improvement opportunities.
● Experience with hands-on electronics and lab work; office productivity tools such as Sheets, Docs, and Drive; and large datasets. Prefer experience with Python and embedded systems.
● Install device FW and QA device readiness; proctor data collection on human participants for sensor-related data collection; complete data QA and analysis using Colab/Python. Prefer ability to draft test SOPs and provide feedback to engineers to improve testing and data collection protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
