Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Test Manager to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics solutions, and data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience leading and managing large data testing teams across multiple projects and geographies, defining testing strategies, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex data transformation projects 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Data Testing teams across multiple projects.
  • Define and implement Data Testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Define and implement comprehensive Data Testing strategies, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage testing scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
  • Drive ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Migration, and Data Integration testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project managers.
  • Write/Review test plans, test cases, execution results, and defect management processes.
  • Ensure data quality, data integrity, reconciliation, and validation across source and target systems.
  • Mentor and guide team members while driving delivery excellence.
  • Manage project risks, resource planning, estimation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within Data Testing practices.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong experience in Data Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
  • Proven experience in source-to-target validation, data completeness, accuracy, transformation, and reconciliation testing.
  • Expertise in SQL and complex query writing.
  • Strong experience with any RDBMS platforms such as:
    • Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL
  • Strong experience in any ETL tools including:
    • Informatica/DataStage/Snowflake/Talend
  • Experience in Data Migration and Data Integration Testing.
  • Data Validation, Data Reconciliation, and Data Quality Testing expertise.
  • Write/Review test plans, test cases, execution results, and defect management processes.
  • Experience in test planning, estimation, reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong people management and leadership experience.
  • Banking and Financial Services domain experience.

Other Requirements

Good-to-Have Skils

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms:
    • Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies:
    • Hadoop/Spark/Hive
  • Test Automation experience for Data Testing.
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality tools.
