Job Summary

The Test Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications within the telecommunications domain. This position involves analyzing business requirements, designing test strategies, and managing test deliverables across multiple testing phases. The Test Specialist is responsible for leveraging Python and advanced testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness, contributing significantly to the organization's commitment to high-quality standards and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design And Execute Comprehensive Test Plans And Test Cases For Software Modules And Features Using Python, Ensuring Alignment With Business Requirements And Quality Standards.
2. Utilize Automation Tools And Frameworks Such As Selenium And Pytest To Enhance Test Efficiency And Coverage, Conducting Functional, Regression, Usability, And Api Testing.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Using Python-Based Testing Scripts, Adhering To Established Procedures For Defect Management.
4. Collaborate Proactively With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices.
5. Stay Updated With The Latest Testing Trends And Technologies, Contributing To The Development And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks/Libraries Using Python.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Python Programming For Test Automation.
2. In-Depth Knowledge Of 5G/4G Lte/3G Testing Methodologies.
3. Familiarity With Automation Tools And Frameworks, Including Selenium And Pytest.
4. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
5. Solid Understanding Of Software Testing Life Cycle (Stlc) And Quality Assurance Processes.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Certified Tester, Certified Software Test Engineer (Cste), Or Similar Quality Assurance Certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
