Job Summary

The Test Specialist - Android plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications through comprehensive testing strategies. This position involves analyzing business requirements, designing test cases, and managing test deliverables throughout all phases of testing. The Test Specialist will leverage their expertise in Android development and testing methodologies to enhance the overall quality and performance of software products, ensuring they meet enterprise standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design And Execute Comprehensive Test Plans And Test Cases For Android Applications, Focusing On User Experience And Functionality, While Ensuring Compliance With Business Requirements.
2. Utilize Tools Such As Appium And Espresso To Automate Testing Processes, Increasing Test Efficiency And Coverage Across Functional, Regression, Usability, And Api Testing For Android Applications.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects In Android Applications Using Tools Like Jira And Bugzilla, Adhering To Established Testing Protocols And Procedures.
4. Collaborate Proactively With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Sharing Best Practices Within The Team.
5. Stay Up-To-Date With The Latest Trends In Mobile Testing, Including Advancements In Android Technologies, And Contribute To The Creation And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries To Enhance Testing Processes.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Android Testing Methodologies And Tools
2. Strong Understanding Of Automation Testing Frameworks, Specifically Appium And Espresso
3. Excellent Skills In Defect Tracking And Reporting Using Tools Like Jira And Bugzilla
4. Familiarity With Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Ci/Cd) Processes In Mobile Application Development
5. Knowledge Of Programming Languages Relevant To Android Development, Such As Java And Kotlin
