Job Summary

As a Test Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing software quality by analyzing business requirements, deriving tests, and managing test deliverables throughout all test phases. You will leverage your expertise in Python to ensure that testing aligns with enterprise business standards and is executed within specified timelines, effectively utilizing resources for maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design And Execute Comprehensive Test Plans And Test Cases For Assigned Software Modules And Features Using Python, Ensuring Thorough Coverage Of Functional, Regression, Usability, And Api Testing.
2. Implement And Utilize Automation Tools And Frameworks, Such As Selenium Or Pytest, To Enhance Test Efficiency And Coverage, Reducing Manual Testing Efforts.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Utilizing Python Scripts To Automate Defect Tracking And Reporting As Per Established Procedures.
4. Collaborate Proactively With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Promote Continuous Improvement And Best Practice Sharing Within The Team.
5. Stay Current With The Latest Trends And Technologies In Testing And Contribute To The Creation And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries Using Python And Relevant Tools.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert Proficiency In Python Programming Language.
2. Solid Understanding Of Testing Methodologies, Including Functional, Regression, Usability, And Api Testing.
3. In-Depth Experience With Test Automation Tools And Frameworks, Such As Selenium, Pytest, Or Similar Technologies.
4. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills For Identifying And Documenting Software Defects.
5. Excellent Collaboration And Communication Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.

Other Requirements

1. Relevant Certifications Such As Istqb Advanced Test Automation Engineer Or Certified Agile Tester Are Optional But Valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
