Job Summary

The Test Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through meticulous analysis of business requirements and robust testing processes. This position involves designing test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating closely with development teams to enhance software quality and efficiency. The Test Specialist will leverage their expertise in Python and automation tools to manage test deliverables effectively, aligning with enterprise standards and timelines.

Expertise in Functional, Unit testing, System testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, End to-End testing, UAT and Automation testing. ➢ Expertise in Industry testing specially to banking industry. ➢ Effective in handling multiple project activities like Effort Estimation and Scoping and Onsite Offshore Coordination. ➢ Has in-depth knowledge of testing to create and document the Project Test Plan, utilizing the tools, templates and procedures and able to execute Test Plans efficiently. ➢ Strong skills with automation and manual testing process and creating automation environment using, Selenium with Java and Cucumber. ➢ Strong skills in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Open API and Kafka framework. ➢ Basic experience in AB testing, Page testing for CMS. ➢ Defect logging, tracking and monitoring using Jira, Confluence and Azure. ➢ An effective team member, skilled in enlisting the support of all team members in aligning with project and organizational goals

Key Responsibilities

1. Design And Execute Comprehensive Test Plans And Test Cases For Software Modules And Features Using Python And Selenium, Ensuring Thorough Coverage And Alignment With Business Requirements.
2. Utilize Automation Frameworks Built On Python To Enhance Test Efficiency And Coverage, Performing Various Types Of Testing Including Functional, Regression, Usability, And Api Testing.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Using Python-Based Testing Tools, Adhering To Established Procedures To Maintain Quality Standards.
4. Proactively Collaborate With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions While Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices.
5. Stay Current With The Latest Trends In Testing Technologies And Contribute To The Creation And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries Utilizing Python.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Python For Software Testing And Automation.
2. Strong Understanding Of Testing Methodologies And Frameworks, Specifically With Selenium.
3. Knowledge Of Microservices Architecture And Its Testing Implications.
4. Familiarity With Api Testing Tools And Practices.
5. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Software Tester (Cst), Istqb Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer.
