Job Summary

To analyze business requirements to derive tests and manage test deliverables for all test phases as per Enterprise business standards and quality in the stipulated time lines with effective utilization of resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. To design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for assigned software modules and features.
2. To utilize automation tools and frameworks to increase test efficiency and coverage to perform various types of testing (functional, regression, usability, and API testing).
3. To identify, reproduce, and document software defects according to established procedures.
4. To proactively partner with developers to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, while actively participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
5. To stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and technologies and contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks/ libraries.

Skill Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with hands-on in automation.
• Proficient in writing test strategies, test plans and design automation frameworks.
• Experience in programming languages JAVA and automation testing tools such as AWS, API Testing, Rest API Testing, Postman and  Cucumber. 
• Broad knowledge of Postgres, version management such as AWS Pipelines, Azure DevOps and Build/Dependency Management /Reporting-Maven.
• Experience in leading Technology and Business teams through the Integration and User Acceptance testing.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability across systems.

 

Other Requirements

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Automation Test Lead to define test strategy and design automation test framework that will support our counterparty due diligence requirements. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading other Testers and work alongside a product owner/delivery lead /technical leads. They will provide deep quality assurance expertise across the solution as well as being involved in the hands-on writing of the test scenarios and test scripts based on the define test strategy.

The candidate will be passionate about the software engineering and quality assurance aspect of the role but will also be a strong communicator able to work with technology and business stakeholders to:

• Help refine requirements where necessary (in conjunction with Business Analysts and /Technical Leads or Solution Architect)
• Keep delivery on track through regular communication with Product Owners and / or Delivery Managers.
• Provide quality assurance guidance and mentoring to the delivery team to ensure excellence across the solution while also upskilling less experienced members of the team.
• Be a self-starter.
• Comfortable to work in a dynamic environment.
• Able to reverse engineer when needed.
