Job Summary

The Android Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications developed for the Android platform. This position focuses on executing test plans, documenting results, and collaborating with development teams to meet client requirements while adhering to established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute Functional Testing Of Android Applications According To Defined Test Plans And Respective Test Cases, Ensuring Adherence To Quality And Client Specifications.
2. Update Test Case Execution Status In The Test Management System And Accurately Log Defects Identified During Testing, Facilitating Effective Communication Of Issues To The Development Team.
3. Collaborate With Team Members During Discussions And Provide Updates To Clients Regarding Testing Progress And Defect Resolution.
4. Assist In The Creation Of Comprehensive Test Cases Derived From Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Thorough Coverage Of Application Features.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Android Testing Frameworks And Tools.
2. Familiarity With Java For Test Automation And Scripting.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of Test Case Design And Execution.
4. Understanding Of Defect Tracking And Test Management Systems.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable: Istqb Foundation Level Certification.
