Job Summary
Plan routes strategically to achieve collection objectives within time, weather, location, and road requirements.
• Execute assigned driving routes and update plans if conditions change; propose optimized alternatives.
• Perform daily vehicle, camera, and equipment readiness checks before each drive.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, including system power checks, cable resets, storage verification, and system reboot procedures.
• Maintain accurate reporting logs: mileage, time, incidents, equipment issues, and route notes.
• Work closely with Data Annotators and automation/reporting teams to reconcile issues and plan re‑drives.
• Submit daily written reports including route deviations, failures, and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate risks and delays proactively to management.
• Handle equipment professionally and ensure secure storage of all gear and recorded files.
Key Responsibilities
FT1 Driver Certification (must be completed PRIOR to employment start date)
• Valid U.S. driver license with clean record
• Ability to drive long routes under varying conditions
• Professional discipline, safety mindset, and communication skills
• Ability to complete detailed logs and written reports
Skill Requirements
• Experience in route planning or logistics
• Familiarity with basic automation or data entry scripting is a plus
• Prior exposure to field operations or automotive environments
• Basic technical troubleshooting (devices, power systems, storage media)
