Job Summary

As a Design Validation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products by conducting thorough testing of software code. Your primary focus will be on validating designs against specified requirements, contributing to the overall success of projects by ensuring that client expectations are met and quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute Test Cases Based On The Test Plan By Utilizing Design Validation Techniques To Assess Software Functionality And Compliance With Requirements.
2. Record And Update Test Case Execution Status In The Testing Management System And Log Defects Using Tools Like Jira Or Bugzilla To Ensure Accurate Tracking Of Issues.
3. Collaborate With Team Members In Discussions To Troubleshoot And Resolve Testing Challenges, While Maintaining Effective Communication With Clients To Provide Project Updates.
4. Assist In Creating Detailed Test Cases Derived From Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications Documents, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Test Scenarios.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Software Testing Principles And Design Validation Processes.
2. Familiarity With Test Management Tools Such As Jira Or Testrail.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of Defect Tracking And Documentation Practices.
4. Basic Proficiency In Interpreting Software Requirement Specifications And Functional Specifications.

Other Requirements

1. Istqb Foundation Level Certification Is Optional But Valuable For This Role.
Maximum Salary (US):  86000
Minimum Salary (US):  45000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
