Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Vision Lab Technician to support cutting-edge hardware and software validation activities in an advanced technology lab environment. This role will work closely with engineers to build, maintain, and optimize test infrastructure, including robotic fixtures and automated testing systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically curious, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

- Set up, configure, and maintain hardware test equipment and robotic fixtures.
- Support system-level testing with a focus on hardware and software integration.
- Assist in bringing up new test infrastructure and lab automation solutions.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot software tools and packages on lab systems.
- Execute test plans, experiments, and validation activities in a timely manner.
- Debug complex hardware and software issues and identify root causes.
- Document defects with detailed logs, timestamps, screenshots, and supporting evidence.
- Support lab management activities and ensure test environments remain operational.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple geographic locations.

Required Qualifications
- Experience setting up and supporting hardware equipment, including robotic fixtures or automated test systems.
- Strong hardware and software debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Skill Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Exposure to Bash, Ansible, or other automation/scripting tools.
- Experience supporting automated test environments and laboratory operations.
- Familiarity with system-level hardware/software validation.
Other Requirements
Work Environment
- Onsite position in Boulder, Colorado.
- Required to work from the office/lab 5 days per week.
- Regular collaboration with distributed engineering teams across different time zones.
