Job Summary

Junior Lab Operations Technician – E1.1

Provides frontline support for lab and client systems by managing tickets, performing basic troubleshooting, system maintenance, and supporting hardware and software deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned tickets and complete tasks within SLA requirements.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting for hardware, operating system, and connectivity issues.
  • Recover unresponsive systems using established procedures.
  • Perform BIOS/IFWI re-flashing, SOC reseating, and basic maintenance activities.
  • Install hardware, firmware, driver, and software updates.
  • Assist with deploying new client and server systems.
  • Configure remote access, power, and network connections.
  • Register DHCP and static IP assignments.
  • Test cables, patch panels, and basic network connectivity.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.

Skill Requirements

  • Basic PC hardware and operating system knowledge.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Maximum Salary (US):  86000
Minimum Salary (US):  45000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
