Job Summary

This role serves as an interim assignment for employees awaiting final job mapping within the organization. The position enables individuals to remain actively engaged in organizational processes and systems while their permanent roles are being determined. They will support ongoing administrative and operational activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate employee records using HR management systems to ensure seamless transition during job mapping.
2. Support routine administrative tasks by utilizing organizational tools and platforms to facilitate daily operations.
3. Assist team members in completing assigned tasks by applying basic familiarity with company processes and guidelines.
4. Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay updated on organizational changes and mapping progress.

Skill Requirements

Directing and managing Customer relationships, workforce and processes in engineering ecosystem.\\\\r\\\\n2. Leading a team in support of Customer objectives as delivered by engineering; including the responsibility/accountability for presentations and demonstrations related to technology, process, or Customer solutions.\\\\r\\\\n3. Owning of continuous review, identification, development, and implementation of improvements to the Customer (and Verizon) environment to increase efficiency, quality, and speed of delivered services.\\\\r\\\\n4. Providing change leadership within immediate team and encourage and nurture change across Network Engineering ecosystem.\\\\r\\\\n5. Communicating and translating functional/operational goals into team/individual objectives; manage implementation of policies procedures.\\\\r\\\\n6. Carrying out, inspecting and validating management administration tasks, such as time management and productivity measurement, personnel development, etc.\\\\r\\\\n7. Managing a team of highly technical, distributed engineers; provide support/review and escalation for direct team.\\\\r\\\\n8. Monitoring, optimizing and reporting on resource and workforce management.\\\\r\\\\n9. Collaborating with Engineering/Planning, IT, Product Development, and various Verizon and external delivery and support teams to manage the design and implementation of Customer projects.\\\\r\\\\n10. Assist pre-sales engagement (for large/complex) deals working with Verizon Operations, Planning and Design (\\\\\\\"OPD\\\\\\\") as required in addition to proactively engaging with sales as needed acting as a champion for Engineering FX\\\\\\\'s within the sales pursuit process.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n1.1.2 Qualifications\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n1. Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.\\\\r\\\\n2. Relevant experience in telecommunications or a technology company.\\\\r\\\\n3. Knowledge of communications products and networking technologies in order to be able to understand technical issues that are being escalated.\\\\r\\\\n4. Fluency in English.\\\\r\\\\n5. Orientation towards Technologies like SD-WAN ( Viptela/ Versa/ Silverpeak) / MPLS/ ILL/Broadband/Legacy Networking .\\\\r\\\\n6. Strong multi- OEM (Juniper, Cisco, Aruba , HPE)skillset and understanding . \\\\r\\\\n7. Consulting, Operational and Implementation experience for Data Networks.\\\\r\\\\n8. Knowledge of technical processes and workflows along with their interfacing to Business processes.\\\\r\\\\n9. Experience on technologies is expected for guiding teams. OEMs like Cisco and Juniper would be preferred. \\\\r\\\\n10. Skills to perform complex work for a functional area and general knowledge of other areas.\\\\r\\\\n11. Knowledge of business processes (e.g., ITIL, Project Management) and the impact thereof on the technical environment.\\\\r\\\\n12. Experience or specific skills related to: technology adoption, software development, business process optimization, automation, etc.\\\\r\\\\n13. Leadership and team-building capabilities through experience in leading teams or projects to successfully achieve measurable results.
