Job Summary
Transformation Technician (DC Architect).
At least 5 years of technical migration experience.\\\\r\\\\n• Responsible and communicative ensuring Transformation Lead and PMs are kept well informed, on time to\\\\r\\\\nmeetings, responsive.\\\\r\\\\n• Excellent documentation and record keeping.\\\\r\\\\n• Fluent in English both spoken and written with good communication skills.\\\\r\\\\n• Sensitive to stakeholder management requirements and able to effectively communicate to different\\\\r\\\\nstakeholders, i.e. OpCo & UnITy teams.\\\\r\\\\n• Able to coordinate technical activities across technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Able to analyse the source environment and assist the OpCo directly with the planning and execution of remediation tasks – i.e. implementation steps, risk appreciation & mitigation, etc. Technically competent in the following: • Networking – VLAN’s, routing, IP configuration, LAN/WAN topologies. • Deep knowledge of Active Directory – Object structure and manipulation, DNS, DHCP, GPO’s, PKI, PowerShell, authentication. • Windows client operating systems. • Firewall configuration and rule set construction. • Understands ITIL concepts, such as Incident, Request & Change • Competence in Virtual technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or Azure • Able to analyse servers and applications and plan required migration changes • An appreciation of environments with more stringent security, compliance, and process requirements
