Job Summary
As our Senior Project Manager, your job will be to execute projects and programs related to IT Infrastructure Services within agreed time, cost and milestones.
It is expected that the Senior Project Manager will be efficient in driving project activities with PMBOK methodologies. The person should have behavioural and emotional intelligence to coordinate with people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
Project Manager Duties
Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
Project Manager Requirements
1. The Senior Project Manager should understand the PMBOK principles and methodologies will delivering projects. It is expected that the person should know how to close and open Gates within Project or Program Lifecycle.
2. The Senior Project Manager should know how to utilize various project execution, monitoring and control techniques like MS-Project to ascertain delays and cost deficit during project execution.
3. The person should be aware on Agile Methodologies specifically in designing and planning iterative project releases.
4. Project Manager should understand how to manage projects and program and should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
5. The person should be able to develop Project Plans using MS Project and have a good understanding on Kanban and Scrum.
6. It will be preferred if the person has a sound knowledge and understanding of Lean Project Management.
7. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. you also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of IT Infrastructure projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate on project execution
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements and skills
• Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
• Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in managing IT infra related projects
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

3. Oversee Operational Hygiene By Validating Reports And Ensuring Services Delivered Meet The Standards Set Forth In The Sow, Employing Effective Monitoring And Evaluation Techniques.
4. Promote Positive Customer Satisfaction By Developing And Implementing New Initiatives And Frameworks That Enhance Service Delivery And Client Relations.
5. Oversee And Implement The Profit Improvement Plan (Pip) Through Strategic Levers Such As Automation And Self-Driven Initiatives, Driving Continuous Improvement In Operational Performance.
