Job Responsibilities : Network Engineering & Operations Manage and troubleshoot enterprise networks (LAN/WAN/DC/WLAN). Work across domains like SD-WAN, Data Center (ACI/Nexus), Firewalls, Load Balancers. Handle complex incidents with strong troubleshooting across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, QoS. 2. Core Networking Expertise Strong hands-on experience in: Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP Switching: STP, VLANs, VRFs High Availability: HSRP/VRRP 3. Automation & NetDevOps Build and maintain automation using: Python, Ansible, Terraform Git-based workflows & CI/CD pipelines Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for configuration and lifecycle management Develop reusable: Playbooks Modules Automation pipelines (provisioning, upgrades, backups, compliance) 4. Observability & Monitoring Work with monitoring stacks such as: SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, ThousandEyes Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk/ELK Drive proactive issue detection and reliability improvements 5. Integration & Platform Engineering Integrate automation workflows with: Source of Truth (NetBox/Nautobot) ITSM tools (ServiceNow) Enable end-to-end automation lifecycle across network operations 6. Design & Collaboration Work with architects, SRE, and application teams to: Embed reliability by design Improve resilience, scalability, and failure domain design Participate in network design reviews 7. Documentation & Governance Create and maintain: Runbooks Playbooks Operational documentation Ensure audit-ready and standardized processes 8. Mentoring & Capability Building Guide engineers on: NetDevOps practices Automation frameworks Reliability engineering principles
