Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fit-out Engineer to supervise and coordinate the electrical fit-out of a large-scale AI Data Center campus in Odisha. The role will focus on site execution within data halls, electrical rooms, network and support spaces, including cable containment, power and control cabling, switchgear and UPS interfaces, busways, rack power distribution, grounding, lighting, controls interfaces, testing and phased turnover.

The position will represent the Owner at site and will work closely with the MEP Execution Lead, electrical contractors, equipment OEMs, the Owner's Engineer, QA/QC, mechanical and CSA teams, and the commissioning team. The successful candidate must be field-oriented, technically strong and capable of driving safe, coordinated and schedule-aligned fit-out through energization and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

. Electrical Fit-out Supervision Supervise day-to-day electrical fit-out activities in data halls, electrical rooms, network rooms, meet-me rooms, mechanical spaces and support areas. Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, coordinated services layouts, method statements and project procedures. Monitor contractor manpower, tools, equipment, materials, productivity and workfront readiness. Plan daily execution priorities with contractors and align them with weekly and short-term look-ahead schedules. Identify installation constraints, access conflicts and incomplete prerequisites and drive timely resolution. Confirm that completed installations are protected from damage and maintained in a clean, commissioning-ready condition. 2. Critical Power Distribution and Equipment Installation Coordinate and supervise installation of MV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, RPPs, ATS/STS systems, distribution boards and associated auxiliary systems. Oversee busway and busduct installation, supports, joints, tap-off units, alignment, labelling and testing. Coordinate transformer, generator and utility-distribution interfaces relevant to downstream fit-out and energization. Ensure electrical equipment is installed with required access, clearances, ventilation, fire separation and maintainability provisions. Coordinate owner-furnished electrical equipment with contractors and OEMs for receiving, positioning, assembly, installation and start-up support. Verify that equipment ratings, labels and installation locations correspond with approved schedules and single-line diagrams. 3. Cable Containment, Cabling and Termination Supervise cable trays, ladders, conduits, trunking, supports, sleeves and fire-rated pathway installations. Coordinate routing and segregation of MV, LV, control, instrumentation, communication and life-safety cables. Monitor cable pulling, bend radius, drum handling, identification, dressing, glanding and termination. Ensure cable schedules, tagging, phase identification and termination records are maintained accurately. Coordinate cable penetrations, fire stopping, sealing and physical protection at interfaces with CSA and fire-protection works. Ensure installation sequencing does not obstruct equipment access, airflow, mechanical piping or future maintenance. 4. Data Hall and Rack Power Fit-out Coordinate data hall electrical fit-out including overhead busways, tap-off boxes, rack feeds, whips, receptacles and local isolation devices. Ensure rack power distribution is aligned with approved redundancy, A/B-feed and phasing requirements. Coordinate electrical readiness with rack layouts, containment, network pathways, CDUs and liquid-cooling connections. Verify that power capacity, circuit identification and physical interfaces support high-density AI rack deployment. Support phased release of rows, zones and data halls for rack installation and integration. Maintain accurate readiness trackers for electrical fit-out, testing and turnover by room, row and system. 5. Grounding, Bonding and Lightning Protection Supervise equipment grounding, protective earthing, bonding and clean-earth or functional-earth systems where specified. Coordinate bonding of racks, busways, cable containment, structural elements, mechanical equipment and metallic services. Ensure grounding conductors, joints, labels, test points and records comply with approved requirements. Support earthing-resistance, continuity and bonding tests and ensure deficiencies are corrected before energization. Coordinate lightning-protection interfaces with roofing, structural and external electrical works. 6. Lighting, Small Power and Auxiliary Electrical Systems Supervise normal and emergency lighting, lighting controls, small-power outlets and maintenance receptacles. Coordinate electrical supplies and local isolation for mechanical, fire-protection, security, ICT and controls equipment. Ensure auxiliary electrical instal
