Key Responsibilities
Required Outcomes
- Power forecast aligned to AI load growth.
- Grid capacity, connection agreements, right-of-way and energisation programme secured.
- Safe, tested and operable EHV/HV GIS integrated with the facility.
- Reliable, commercially optimised and progressively lower-carbon supply.
Grid strategy and approvals
- Develop demand, transient-load and phased energisation forecasts.
- Lead utility applications, system studies, connection, metering, protection, commercial agreements and approvals.
- Define dual-source and backup philosophy.
GIS and transmission delivery
- Lead design, procurement, construction and commissioning of 132/220 kV-class GIS/AIS, transformers, protection/control, SCADA, metering and cables/lines.
- Own specifications, OEM evaluation, FAT/SAT, settings, spares, warranties and O&M.
- Manage route selection, easements/right-of-way and third-party interfaces.
Electrical assurance and commercial power
- Review load-flow, short-circuit, stability, protection, earthing, step/touch, harmonics, arc-flash and power-quality studies.
- Integrate utility/GIS with MV, generators, UPS, BESS, EPMS and restoration strategy.
