Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Audio-Visual (AV) professional with strong hands-on experience in designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting AV meeting rooms and collaboration spaces. The candidate should have practical experience with technologies and solutions from Q-SYS (QSC), Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Shure, and other enterprise AV platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Able to independently set up and manage an AV lab environment for testing, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and proof-of-concept activities.Design and configure Audio-Visual meeting rooms based on different room sizes and business requirements.Hands-on experience with Q-SYS (QSC), Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Shure and similar enterprise AV technologies.Configure and integrate DSPs, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, cameras, displays, touch panels, and AV control systems.Perform complete AV signal-flow design and configuration, including audio, video, USB, and control paths.Configure and test AV-over-IP solutions, including encoders, decoders, and network-based AV devices.Integrate AV equipment with Microsoft Teams Rooms and other video-conferencing solutions.Configure and tune DSPs, including microphone inputs, speaker outputs, routing, levels, and room audio optimization.Perform device installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Skill Requirements
Primary Skills
- Audio Visual systems including DSPs, microphones, speakers, cameras, codecs, and controllers
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, Lenovo, or similar AV platforms
- AV room design, integration, testing, and commissioning
- Digital Signage and Room Scheduling solutions
- AV monitoring and management platforms
- Knowledge of IP-based AV technologies and AV-over-IP solutions
- Meeting Rooms deployment, administration, and troubleshooting
- Incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis for conference room technologies
Secondary Skills
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, PoE, and wireless connectivity
- Experience with UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom
- Vendor coordination and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management
- Automation and reporting using PowerShell or scripting tools
