Job Summary
Administer and support enterprise Linux and UNIX environments.
Perform OS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
Execute vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.
Design, test, and certify operating system patches and platform enhancements.
Troubleshoot OS-level issues involving CPU, memory, storage, networking, and file systems.
Support infrastructure automation initiatives using Ansible, Puppet, and scripting tools.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards.
Manage capacity planning, performance tuning, and system optimization.
Work closely with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
Participate in production support and critical issue resolution as a Level-3/Level-4 SME.
