Acts as third-level support responsible for resolving critical issues, providing expert troubleshooting, and driving system improvements while ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting for critical production incidents (P1 & P2)

Perform deep root cause analysis and implement fixes

Design and optimize Linux system architecture

Handle kernel tuning and performance optimization

Manage filesystem and LVM issues

Troubleshoot boot failures and kernel panic

Manage authentication systems (SSSD, LDAP, AD, Kerberos)

Perform capacity planning and performance tuning

Lead OS upgrades and patching strategies

Implement automation (Bash, Python, Ansible)

Ensure system security and compliance
-
Troubleshoot networking issues (DNS, NFS, CIFS)

Lead major incident calls

Mentor L1 and L2 engineers

Create SOPs and documentation

Support change management processes
