Track Lead - Azure Active Directory

Job Summary

The Azure Active Directory Track Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end operational ownership of the Azure AD (Entra ID) service track within DFS Support & Operations. The role provides technical leadership, ensures service stability, drives SLA adherence, and acts as the primary escalation and coordination point across delivery, security, and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own Azure Active Directory / Entra ID operations for the assigned account(s), acting as the Track Lead and single point of accountability. Provide technical and operational leadership to the Azure AD support team, including work allocation, guidance, and quality oversight. Lead major incidents, escalations, and problem management related to identity and access services, including RCA governance and corrective action tracking. Ensure effective management of identity lifecycle, access governance, Conditional Access, MFA, and directory security controls. Drive service reviews, operational reporting, risk identification, and continuous improvement initiatives for the Azure AD service. Ensure compliance with HCL ITSM, security, audit, and customer governance standards, and support internal/external audits as required.

Skill Requirements

Strong hands‑on and leadership experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID in enterprise environments. In‑depth understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, access governance, Conditional Access, and MFA. Experience leading L2/L3 support teams and managing complex operational escalations. Solid knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, service management). Strong stakeholder management and customer‑facing communication skills. PowerShell, automation, and Azure integration exposure is preferred.

Other Requirements

Ability to operate in a 24x7 enterprise support model, including escalation and on‑call support as needed. Experience working in global delivery and multi‑stakeholder environments. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage priorities under pressure. Good documentation and governance reporting skills.
