Job Summary

Provide L3 support for AWS RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) databases • Manage OCI Exadata Cloud@Customer environments and VM clusters • Perform database administration activities including installation, configuration, and maintenance • Execute database performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery setups • Perform database patching, hardening, and audit compliance activities • Handle database monitoring, health checks, and issue remediation • Manage database replication, clustering, and high availability configurations • Execute DB refresh, cloning, indexing, and data migration activities • Perform incident, change, and problem management (L3 support) • Manage DB user access, roles, and security configurations • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and documentation

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for L3 database operations across AWS RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and OCI Exadata Cloud@Customer. Ensures database performance, stability, backup, recovery, and compliance as per managed services SOW.

Skill Requirements

 AWS RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) • OCI Exadata Cloud@Customer (VM cluster management) • Oracle Database & Exadata features (Flash Cache, Storage Index, HCC) • Backup & Recovery (RMAN, snapshot-based backups) • Database Performance Tuning & Optimization • Replication & DR setup • Linux administration • Monitoring and alerting tools • Automation (Terraform, Ansible) • ServiceNow ITSM • Scripting (Shell, Python) • Exposure to Multi-cloud environments (AWS + OCI)

Other Requirements

Oracle Database / Exadata Certification • AWS Database Specialty / Solutions Architect
