Job Summary
The Transition PMO is responsible for establishing and running the Transition Management Office (TMO/PMO) for large IT / security / operations transitions.\r\nThe role ensures end‑to‑end governance, tracking, risk control, reporting discipline, and executive visibility, enabling controlled transition from incumbent → interim → BAU operations with minimal business disruption.
The Track Lead in Support & Operations plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence through effective project execution and team empowerment. This position focuses on continuous improvement and problem-solving to meet client SLAs while fostering a collaborative environment that drives organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate the Transition PMO / TMO aligned to HCLTech transition frameworks\r\nDefine and manage:\r\n\r\nGovernance structure & cadence\r\nSteering committee, program board, and operational forums\r\nEscalation paths and decision authorities\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure alignment across service delivery, technology, tools, HR, finance, and third‑party tracks\r\nMaintain the master transition plan, integrating all workstreams:\r\n\r\nService towers\r\nTools & access\r\nKnowledge transfer (KT)\r\nGo‑live and hypercare\r\n\r\n\r\nTrack milestones, dependencies, and critical path items\r\nEnforce entry/exit criteria for each transition phase (Engage, Learn, Perform)\r\nOwn and maintain the Transition RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)\r\nDrive proactive risk identification and mitigation\r\nTrack and report transition KPIs, including:\r\n\r\nKT completion status\r\nReadiness and acceptance metrics\r\nGo‑live criteria\r\n\r\n\r\nAct as the single source of truth for transition status and metrics\r\nGovern KT planning, documentation, and sign‑offs across service towers\r\nEnsure completeness and acceptance of:\r\n\r\nRunbooks\r\nSOPs / playbooks\r\nTool access and connectivity\r\n\r\n\r\nTrack service readiness and acceptance prior to go‑live and BAU handover\r\nSupport tracking of:\r\n\r\nTransition budgets\r\nResource ramp‑up plans\r\nPRFs, Y‑codes, and transition‑specific cost visibility\r\n\r\n\r\nPartner with finance and delivery teams to ensure:\r\n\r\nProper transition cost control\r\nCompliance with internal review and approval processes\r\nGovern formal handover from Transition to BAU PMO / Service Delivery\r\nEnsure all exit criteria are met:\r\n\r\nAcceptance sign‑offs\r\nDocumentation closure\r\nOwnership transfer\r\n\r\n\r\nSupport stabilization and hypercare tracking until transition closure

Skill Requirements
Security Transition PMO to run a large Security transition Program. Strong PMO / TMO governance expertise in large enterprise transitions\r\nProven experience in:\r\n\r\nMulti‑workstream planning\r\nRAID management\r\nExecutive reporting\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong coordination and stakeholder management skills\r\nExperience in IT, infrastructure, or security transitions\r\nFamiliarity with ITIL / ISO‑aligned service models\r\nWorking knowledge of ServiceNow or equivalent tools for transition tracking\r\nAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint\r\nPMO dashboards / reporting tools (Power BI preferred)\r\nStructured PMO templates and governance artefacts\r\n\r\n
1. Proficient In Project Management Methodologies And Tools, Including Dmo Frameworks.
2. Strong Understanding Of Operations Management And Continuous Improvement Principles.
3. Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills.

Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Management\r\nPMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL certification (preferred)\r\n10–15+ years overall experience\r\n5+ years in transition PMO, delivery PMO, or large program governance roles
