Job Summary

Job Description: Onsite Project Coordinator (Procurement Experience Required)

Role Overview

Location - Boston (preferred) , North America(East coast)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onsite Project Coordinator with strong procurement and vendor management experience to support infrastructure and project delivery initiatives. This role will serve as the key point of coordination across project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution, material availability, and seamless onsite operations.

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Act as the primary onsite coordination point for project activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones
  • Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and vendors
  • Maintain project documentation, logs, and compliance records

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities including requisition creation, PO tracking, and delivery follow-ups
  • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of hardware, services, and materials
  • Validate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and ensure procurement aligns with project requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain asset tracking for onsite deployments
  • Support contract, SOW, and pricing discussions in coordination with sourcing teams

Onsite Operations Support

  • Ensure availability of required materials, equipment, and resources at site before execution
  • Coordinate scheduling of field engineers, logistics, and installations
  • Manage onsite issue resolution and escalations related to procurement or delivery delays
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and organizational standards

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide daily/weekly project and procurement status reports
  • Highlight risks related to supply chain, delays, or cost impact and recommend mitigation plans
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, leadership, and vendors

Skill Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, project tracking tools, and ERP/procurement systems
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with hardware procurement (servers, storage, networking equipment)
  • Familiarity with CMDB tools, asset management, or inventory systems
  • Exposure to IT projects (cloud, infrastructure refresh, deployments)
  • PMP, CAPM, or supply chain certifications

Work Environment

  • Onsite role with active involvement in project execution environments (data center, office, or deployment site)
  • Requires coordination with global or cross-regional teams

Other Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project coordination with procurement or supply chain exposure
  • Experience working in IT infrastructure, data center, or technical project environments (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and logistics
Maximum Salary (US):  129000
Minimum Salary (US):  73000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
