Job Summary

Cloud Architect - AWS
Role Purpose
Architect scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions and establish cloud architecture and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Define scalable and secure AWS solution architectures, reference patterns, and engineering guardrails.

• Review designs for availability, security, operability, performance, and cost awareness.

• Guide engineering teams and stakeholders through architecture decisions and standards adoption.

• Follow approved architecture, security, change, documentation, and service-management controls.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders; communicate progress, risks, decisions, and support needs.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• Suggested baseline: 10+ years in relevant infrastructure or cloud domains, including architecture leadership.

• Hands-on capability aligned to the role scope: Architect scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions and establish cloud architecture and engineering standards.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, document designs and procedures, and work effectively across distributed teams.

• Working knowledge of enterprise security, change, incident, problem, release, and operational-readiness practices.

Other Requirements

Education and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• Relevant cloud, platform, network, data, security, DevOps, IT service management, or project-management certifications are desirable where applicable to the role.
