Job Summary

DevOps Platform Engineer

Engineer enterprise development platforms and automation using Ansible, Atlassian Cloud, Cognos, Artifactory, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and automate enterprise development platforms using Ansible, Atlassian Cloud, Cognos, Artifactory, Terraform, and Python.

• Build governed CI/CD capabilities, integrations, reusable modules, and platform self-service.

• Support platform reliability, upgrades, security remediation, documentation, and user adoption.

• Follow approved architecture, security, change, documentation, and service-management controls.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders; communicate progress, risks, decisions, and support needs.

Skill Requirements

• Suggested baseline: 5+ years of relevant engineering or development experience in enterprise environments.

• Hands-on capability aligned to the role scope: Ansible, Atlassian Cloud, Cognos, Artifactory, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, document designs and procedures, and work effectively across distributed teams.

• Working knowledge of enterprise security, change, incident, problem, release, and operational-readiness practices.

Other Requirements

Education and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• Relevant cloud, platform, network, data, security, DevOps, IT service management, or project-management certifications are desirable where applicable to the role.
